The payroll unit has received confirmation that all information submitted to the system's office regarding the 01/24/2020 FICA deduction for students and graduate assistants, is being processed by the Maryland Comptroller's Central Payroll Unit.
The affected populations were those students/GA's in a full-time student/GA title for the fall semester and received a FICA deduction for the check dated 01/24/2020.
These refunds will be individually mailed to the address on file. A date has not been released as to when to expect the checks. As more information is provided we will update the campus.
