This is to notify you that FM will need to extend the current high temperature hot water (HTHW) outage until at least June 5. The outage started on schedule and proceeded well, however, some unforeseen conditions with the existing piping material in the tunnel caused welds at the pipe and valves to fail. We have worked with the contractor to identify the issue, a better solution and to expedite the new material required to cut out and reweld these large valves. The contractor will continue to expedite the work as fast as possible. We will keep you informed on the progress. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
