Please be advised that Facilities Management will be conducting electrical power tests for the elevator system in the building.  The power will not be out of service, but as power is switched to emergency power for the life safety systems there will be a momentary interruption of power.  We believe this will be isolated to facility functions only and not affect equipment plugged into convenience outlets in your space, but we cannot guarantee this as many circuits have been rewired over the years.  We recommend that you check your equipment that day to make sure it is working correctly.  For critical equipment, it is best that it be plugged into a UPS.

The switch over will take place in the ILSB Thursday, 4/30/2020 between 7 am and 4 pm.  The switching test should be completed in about 1 hour, but we will be testing several buildings that day, so an exact time cannot be determined in advance.
