The UMBC Climate Action Steering Committee would like to invite you to our Climate Action Forum on Monday, September 25. We are offering two opportunities to participate: the first is at 12 p.m. in Commons room 329, and the second is at 5 p.m. in Commons 331. Light refreshments will be available.
UMBC is in the process of updating its 2009 Climate Action Plan, and we would like to hear from the campus community on ways we could move forward more quickly toward our goals.
Please join us and share your ideas to help us shape strategies for UMBC and to set bold, new goals. Help us forge sustainable solutions: from carbon emission reductions, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, to green transportation, recycling/compost/waste, and eco-friendly infrastructure. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP so we can plan the event accordingly.
