Dear Members of the UMBC Community,
We are pleased to share with you an important resource for UMBC faculty, staff and students – the Consumer Compliance Information website. In accordance with the Higher Education Act, as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), UMBC makes available to current and prospective faculty, staff and students important disclosure information regarding policies and disclosures. While UMBC has a long history of sharing consumer and compliance information, the website was designed to provide all disclosure information in one location. In addition, our one-page UMBC Drug and Alcohol Prevention Quick Reference Guide is a consolidated reference document to assist employees with navigating available policies and resources.
If you have any questions regarding the information contained in the Consumer Compliance Information website, we encourage you to contact the respective administrative department (Enrollment Management, Office of the General Counsel, University Police, or the Human Resources Department) at UMBC.
Valerie Thomas, Associate Vice President for Human Resources
