Dear Members of the UMBC Community,
I am writing to update you on the progress of UMBC’s search for the Dean of The Erickson School and to thank you for the valuable input we have received so far.
After a round of off-site interviews, the search committee has narrowed the candidates to three finalists. Each of those finalists will visit the campus over the next two weeks. As a part of each visit, the search committee will host a candidate forum open to all members of the community. The forums will be held on the following dates and times:

- Wednesday, March 7, 12–1 p.m. – Performing Arts & Humanities Building, Room 234
- Thursday, March 8, 12–1 p.m. – Albin O. Kuhn Library, 7th Floor
- Wednesday, March 14, 12–1 p.m. – Performing Arts & Humanities Building, Room 229
The search committee will provide opportunities for input after each forum. The committee hopes that you will meet with each of the candidates, ask questions, and share your feedback. Your input will be helpful for the search committee as it prepares its final recommendations for the position.
Each candidate’s curriculum vitae will be made available on The Erickson School Dean search website, typically one day in advance of each visit. Any additional details about the forums also will be posted on the search website as they become available.
