Dear Members of the UMBC Community,
We are pleased to share with you the State's approval of a pay increase and bonus, following strong fiscal 2018 revenues. In addition to a 2 percent faculty and staff cost-of-living salary increase beginning January 1, 2019, employees will receive an additional 0.5 percent increase and a $500 bonus, effective April 1, 2019.
It is good to see the State's support for our outstanding faculty and staff who work each day to advance this great university. We thank you for all that you do for UMBC.
