We invite you to participate in UMBC’s Winter 2018 Commencement Ceremonies at the UMBC Event Center on campus.
- Graduate Commencement will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19
- Undergraduate Commencement will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 20
Join us in celebrating our graduating students by marching in UMBC's commencement processions. If you plan to participate in the ceremonies, please take a moment to RSVP through our Online Commencement Form. This information will be used for event planning logistics and so that appropriate seating arrangements can be made.
Marching in the procession requires academic regalia. Many of you may have your own regalia, but if you need to order regalia you can do so through November 26, 2018. Specific instructions for ordering regalia can be found on the Online Commencement Form. Note that UMBC will subsidize the rental of academic regalia for faculty and staff; however, you will be responsible for an expedited shipping fee if your order is placed after November 19, to ensure timely delivery.
