Dear UMBC Community,
The Institutional Advancement team and colleagues involved in marketing and communications across the campus are delighted to share that tomorrow, April 3, UMBC will officially launch a new logo, homepage, and video to share with the world what makes UMBC such a special community.
You’ve likely already seen glimpses of the new logo design—on the silo as you approach Hilltop Circle from 95, on the elevator doors of the Administration Building, and on stickers and signs around campus. Starting tomorrow, the rest of the world will also see our new look and brand messaging.
At UMBC, we know that our campus culture and community are what define us, far more than any marketing campaign. We are grateful to the many UMBC faculty, staff, students, and alumni who played a role in designing exciting new materials that capture the essence of our community.
Thank you for all you do to make UMBC UMBC.
Lisa Akchin, Associate Vice President for Engagement
