Please consider giving to the Maryland Charity Campaign
As we return from the Thanksgiving holiday and look forward to more time with family and friends during the upcoming holiday season, we recognize that many people less fortunate than ourselves need our help.
Our community's passion for caring, and the fact we are one of the most generous campuses in the state, speaks volumes about who we are and our values. Your contributions, no matter the size, make a real difference to the many charities you support.
We want to thank everyone who has contributed to the campaign so far. With your help, UMBC has already raised more than $120,000 from 565 individual donations for nonprofit organizations that serve the surrounding community in many ways, from food and shelter to education and job training.
If you have not yet had a chance to do so, we encourage you to take this opportunity on Giving Tuesday to make a gift to a non-profit that supports a cause that matters to you.
