UMBC will experience a planned campus-wide power outage on Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 6 a.m. - 4 p.m. This outage will allow Baltimore Gas and Electric to make repairs to portions of its electrical distribution system, which supplies power to UMBC.
As with any power outage, Facilities Maintenance staff will be present during and after the outage to ensure critical campus systems are restored to normal operation at the conclusion of the outage.
The Technology Research Center (TRC) will not lose power during this outage.
