Dear Members of the UMBC Community,
This is to remind you of an important resource for UMBC faculty, staff and students – the Consumer Compliance Information website. In accordance with the Higher Education Act, as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), UMBC makes available to current and prospective faculty, staff, and students important information regarding policies and disclosures. While UMBC has a long history of sharing consumer and compliance information, the website was designed to provide all disclosure information in one location. In addition, our one-page UMBC Drug and Alcohol Prevention Quick Reference Guide is a consolidated reference document to assist you with navigating available policies and resources.
If you have questions regarding the information contained in the Consumer Compliance Information website, we encourage you to contact the respective administrative department. This includes the Office of Enrollment Management, the Office of the General Counsel, the Office of Equity & Inclusion, University Police, or the Human Resources Department.
Valerie A. Thomas, Chief Human Resources Officer
