Here are links to some of the workshops and programs Monique from our Lunch and Learn Event with Exelon and Brooksource. These are great ways to gain the skills and experience needed to start your career.
- Exerceo is an organization that hosts the tech incubator and working groups skills trainings. Students can pick a topic they want to learn ( DevOps, Data Science, Sys Admin, Software development and Cybersecurity) and then enroll themselves in classes that most interest them at times they are available
- Through the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program, students can work on projects on their own time, from anywhere they are - that advance the work of government on multiple fronts. Projects include helping counter violent extremism, strengthening human rights monitoring, developing virtual programs, engaging in digital communications, mapping, economic and political reporting, data analysis, graphic design, and app building. https://vsfs.state.gov/about
