This course focuses on entering complex budgets and utilizing advanced functions available in Kuali  (UMBC's new Proposal Development & Award Management tool). The session will discuss how to manage Multiple Appointment Types, On and Off Campus rates, Salary Increase, Budget Period Boundaries, Subawards, Cost Sharing, Under recovery, TDC versus MTDC, Fringe Rate changes and more. 

This instruction session will also model production budget questions as the users are beginning to enter budgets in Kuali.
