Hey Everybody!
As I'm sure everybody already knows, spring semester is right around the corner! We hope to see everybody at our first meeting of the semester, Thursday 02/07! We will be having a small social to welcome everybody back and let everybody relax. Meetings will resume a regular schedule after that!
As always, Monday is our advocacy meeting, Tuesdays are our Trans Tuesday meeting, and Thursdays are our discussion meetings.
We will also be at Involvement Fest on February 6th! Come check out our table and sign up for our mailing list if you haven't already!
There have been some changes made to the board moving forward, as Destiny and Michael have stepped down from their positions. In the interim, Shannon will be covering the role of Communications Director, and we are considering candidates for the role of Treasurer.
We have some exciting things planned for this semester! We're looking to do more volunteer work in our community, as well as holding some fun events! If you would like to participate in our volunteer work, contact Irene or come to our advocacy meetings!
We are currently planning on doing a Makeup Workshop series that is geared towards developing skills with makeup for those who are interested. If you would like to volunteer, contact myself or Shannon!
Not only that, but our annual Drag Show is back and better than ever! More information about that will be coming shortly. If you're interested in auditioning, or volunteering, contact myself or Shannon! The Drag Show will be held on May 2nd. Tickets will be available online prior to the event!
