It's finally May again and that means that the Mosaic Center's annual Lavender Celebration is coming up on May 13th, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
This event celebrates LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff and their allies. Graduating seniors and graduate students will be recognized and receive lavender honors cords. The following awards will also be given out:
- LGBTQ+ Advocate of the Year
- LGBTQ+ Student Leader of the Year
- LGBTQ+ Scholar of the Year
- LGBTQ+ Ally of the Year
- Lavender Legacy Award
If you would like to nominate someone for the above awards, please do so by following this link and filling out the form by May 3rd, 2019 at 1 pm.
If you are a graduating senior or graduate student who IS ABLE TO ATTEND the celebration, please RSVP using this link to register to receive your cord by May 8th.
If you are a graduating senior or graduate student who IS UNABLE TO ATTEND the celebration, please follow this link and fill out the form to receive your lavender cord. Pick up times for the cords are May 14th, 2019 from 10 am - 4 pm and May 15th, 2019 from 10 am - 12 pm.
