Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Business Manager and Director of the Library & Gallery, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Business Manager in managing the business services and activities for the Library. Specific duties include managing the day-to-day operations of Accounting and Receiving unit; providing financial and business support to each department; managing procurement; maintaining ledger accounts in MS Excel, to include journal entries, purchase orders and requisitions (including monthly reconciliation); and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma/GED and six years progressively responsible experience in a combination of budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and personnel work. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, computer, problem solving, and time management skills. A proven ability to work with a diverse population.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience processing travel reimbursements preferred.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance and MS Excel is strongly preferred.

Salary: Pay Range 11 (starting at $40,852) based on a University of Maryland System Pay Program.
