Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for general maintenance of the print serials collection, assisting with planning and implementation of shifts. Using various library automated systems, the incumbent will perform searches to help identify items for deselection. The incumbent is expected to assist users, shelve, maintain all equipment as well as perform other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Chief Serials Technician.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED; Library or clerical experience desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have good organization and communication skills; detail oriented, self-motivated, flexible; demonstrate the ability to work independently; proficient with word processing applications. Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets would be preferable. This position requires physical labor—lifting and pushing loaded book trucks.

Salary: $16.10 per hour, 30-40 hours per week
Hours: M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. subject to change depending on the needs of the Library.
