Good Afternoon Everyone

Due to an unforeseen mixup between our club and African Student Association, we were forced to move locations. The room we were moved to was Admin 101, so if you came to Physics 101(LH6) a bit late then you are not crazy just a bit unlucky. It’s similar to when you’re stuck in loading screen and the game has started. The only difference is that we won’t flame you to get better internet. Like with vision wards, time to give you the much needed information you may have missed.

Events
There will be 2 types. In person(Viewing Party and LAN Events) and Online(Inhouse/custom games). In person events will always be on campus. The only exceptions are when we are given special invitations to off campus events. For example, Collegiate Star League offered us a full bus ride down to their finals event in Atlantic City last semester or during Fall 2018 The owner of Team Liquid invited our club to attend a Viewing party for Worlds 2018. Online events just require you to showup on our discord to participate which can be located at https://discord.gg/UMBCLOL.

Competitive

We are once again competing in Riot’s ULOL tournament and Collegiate Star League(CSL) tournament. There will be a ranked minimums for ULOL(Diamond+), CSL’s Star League(Diamond+) and CSL’s Open League(Platinum+). There will only be a ranked maximum for CSL’s Gold League(Gold 1). In order to sign up you will have to join our competitive server https://discord.gg/CQUda2v. If you have any questions ask YikesItsWykes#9487, eiluj#1640, or SenseiSushi#1550 on discord. Sign-ups end on the 15th, so there is not much time left.

Expectations and Conduct
We understand that league can sometimes get intense and/or frustrating, but there is no excuse for toxicity against other people, ESPECIALLY club members. Any harassment or discrimination based on gender, race, orientation, or rank will not be tolerated. We ask that if you experience something like this or witness it, please report it to the Eboard.
