Dr. Zhu recently attended the18th International Symposium on Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering. It was a great opportunity to talk to researchers who are using advanced mathematical simulation software/tools to illustrate engineering principles, including material deformation, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer in bioengineering field. Those tools have great potential to be implemented in engineering educations to help students understand abstract engineering concepts.
