Virtual Conference

The IOSSBR Summer Virtual Conference will be held June 28-29.  The submission deadline is June 15th.   All sessions will be held via the IOSSBR Zoom platform, which enables live video presentations from any computer with an internet connection.  We have full time tech help read to assist with any need.  All sessions will be organized by discipline and time zone.  

Boston July 30-31--Submission Deadline July 1

The IOSSBR Summer Conference is being held at the Boston Marriott Peabody.  We have room rates at $119 per night.  Boston is full ofthings to do with the Red Sox being at home vs. the Phillies, the Freedom Tour, and many historical sights and museums.  

Boca Raton Nov 12-14--Submission Deadline Oct 15

Journal of Higher Education and Ethics

IOSSBR is pleased to announce the Journal of Higher Education and Ethics which is being launched May 1st.  The journal editor is Dr. Richard Wilson of Loyola University.  

What to expect

The sessions typically have 5 papers 2 hour long session. Each paper is 15-20 minutes in length with 5 minutes for Q&A.  Our poster sessions are 1 hour long and are during a reception where food and beverages are served.  This gives a large attendance to the poster sessions. Each room is equipped with a laptop and projector. We have adapters for Macs and iPads. All you would need to bring is a flash drive. We have a tech person on site all the time to help with any difficulties that arise. Best paper awards are voted during each session of the conference. Anyone who is registered at the conference and has attended the entire session can vote. The Best Papers are considered to have gone through a review process and only have to go through an Editor review when submitting to the Journal of Social Sciences Research.

IOSSBR also offers virtual Skype sessions as part of every on ground conference. With the help of our support staff, we provide participants the option to present their papers from a remote location. The online presentation involves simple steps. On-site participants can interact with the presenter, ask questions, and give feedback. The online participant also goes through the voting process and can be voted best paper as much as other participants.
