Kramer Installation: Fine Art Services

Immediate need of a part time / full-time Art Handler / Installer based in Baltimore, MD. Willing to train the right person.

Packing / Transporting / Installing Artwork
This position will be responsible for residential and commercial installations with some museum work.

What is the CBIC?
The CBIC is an opportunity for UMBC students who are serious about starting a business.

Who Should Participate?
Any UMBC student (full or part time, graduate or undergraduate) with a dream of launching their own business soon.

Why Participate?
The CIBC will give you "real world" experience.  You'll be paired with a business mentor and you'll get helpful feedback and guidance.  You'll also get connected to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

SINGLE CARROT THEATRE SEEKS BOARD OPERATOR

The three screen Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway will present a broad range of art-house, independent, documentary, and classic cinema alongside educational and live music offerings in the renovated, historic Parkway Theatre. A partnership among the Maryland Film Festival, Johns Hopkins University, and MICA, The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Parkway is slated to open in the spring of 2017.

Position Overview:

The Managing Director is responsible for the artistic and financial success of North Avenue Entertainment - 8,000 sq. ft. of performance, gallery, bar and special event venues on the first floor of the Motor House in Baltimore, MD. The Managing Director oversees all aspects of programming, planning, marketing, resource development, financial management, and general administration.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & DEVELOPMENT

The Director of Development is responsible for the overall strategic financial planning of the organization, providing key input into financial decision making and strategy. He/She is also responsible for securing grants, donations, and/or corporate sponsorships that provide for a sustainable financial model. The Director of Development is the guiding force in producing short-term and long-term business plans that drive the financial operation of the company towards prolonged sustainability.
