JOB SUMMARY

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking artists to take part in the juried portion of Paint It! Ellicott City 2019. The annual plein air paint-out will be held June 27-July 1 in picturesque and historic Ellicott City, Maryland, with a minimum of $1,000 in total awards given to participating artists. The event will culminate in a gallery exhibit at the Howard County Center for the Arts from July 1 - August 9. Juror: Nancy Tankersley.

Baltimore Center Stage seeks a DIRECTOR OF ARTISTIC PRODUCING to join a dynamic (and often hilarious) artistic team alongside newly appointed Artistic Director, Stephanie Ybarra. Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Hours: 20 hrs/week

The Maryland Historical Society has an immediate opening for a part-time Accounts Payable Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

This position develops, implements and manages the security for the museum by ensuring protection of all assets including, but not limited to, artwork; building, equipment, and premises; staff and volunteers; and the general public. In fulfilling these responsibilities the Head of Security hires, trains, manages and deploys a security officer corps to respond to the 24 hours a day /7 days a week needs of the museum.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Senior Engineering Technician will provide a consistent and reliable environment in all museum buildings. Utilizing the Museums building automation system to maintain the environmental conditions that best preserve the works of art is top priority. This position will require a trained and experienced hands-on HVAC mechanic that has the skills to troubleshoot, repair, PM, and install all types of HVAC equipment.

HR Assistant/Coordinator

The HR Assistant / Coordinator will work in the HR Department by supporting the administration of the Talent Acquisition process, maintaining all employee records in compliance, conducting New Hire Orientation and Exit Interviews, responsible for all data entry required to various systems, and other operations in support of the HR department.

The HR Assistant/Coordinator will report to the HR Director, and support and collaborate with all members of the HR Department.
