About the Program

The Walters Art Museum seeks an outstanding junior scholar who wishes to pursue a curatorial career for an Andrew W. Mellon postdoctoral fellowship. For its term of two years (with the possibility of renewal for a third year), the fellowship will provide curatorial training and support scholarly research related to the collections of the Walters. Widely regarded as one of the finest museums in the United States, the Walters possesses an encyclopedic collection of eastern and western art.

Baltimore’s Center Stage seeks candidates for the position of Public Relations Manager in its nine- person Marketing and Communications Department. Primary responsibilities include developing strategies for securing local, regional, and national press coverage. The Public Relations Manager also serves as ambassador for Center Stage in the Baltimore area among tourism, arts industry, restaurant and small business arenas to develop and maintain ongoing partnerships.

Port Discovery Children's Museum provides experiences that ignite imagination, inspire learning, and nurture growth through play. We are currently looking for a talented, friendly, and experienced Exhibit Development Coordinator. This is a part time position offering approximately 29 hours per week. Work schedule for this position is flexible, but may be adjusted according to department or Museum needs. Participation in special events, evenings, weekends, and holiday may be necessary.

Auditions!

We're holding general auditions for the Baltimore Playwrights Festival's 2016 summer season at The Vagabond Players, on Wednesday, May 4, beginning at 7:00 pm. The festival format has changed--in addition to full productions, some theaters will produce book-in-hand staged productions.

Please memorize a two-minute monologue for your audition, and bring six copies of your resume, and head shot if you have one. Auditioners will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
