First Event of the Semester!
The Alex. Brown Center's first event of the semester will be held on Monday, February 13th from 12-1pm in Commons 331. 

This event will feature Jay Nwachu '04, who is the President and CEO of Innovation Works & Ignite Capital. During his presentation titled, "Things to Consider When Launching a Social Venture", Jay will discuss how to uncover your passion, how your passion can be turned into a unique value proposition, and so much more! Students, faculty, alumni, and members of the business community are welcome to attend!

ABCEI Scholarships
Did you know the Alex. Brown Center offers two scholarships for students who demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship?

The deadline for submission is March 1, 2023. To learn more about the scholarship opportunities, click here!

CBIC Submission Form is NOW AVAILABLE! 
The Alex. Brown Center's Cangialosi Business Innovation Competition (CBIC) is an opportunity for UMBC students who are serious about starting a business or social impact venture to pitch their idea to a panel of judges to win money to help launch their venture. The CBIC submission form is now available on our website. We can't wait to hear your ideas!

University Scouts Program
CEO, in partnership with Amazon Web Services is excited to launch the University Scouts Program. The mission of this program is to help college and university start-up founders grow and succeed with the power of AWS technology and partner services. The Program & Marketing Assistant position reports directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the zeal to support the development, implementation, and management of GBCA’s multi-faceted programmatic and institutional marketing and communications efforts, including digital marketing, the production/refinement of marketing collaterals, and providing project-specific administrative support.
