Brown Center hosted the CBIC Finale at Betamore.  After an evening of heavy </span><span>hors d'oeuvre, and six competitive pitches, the panel of judges took on the difficult task of ranking each pitch from first to third place in our Technology &amp; Innovation and Social Impact tracks.  First place received $3,000, Second place received $2,000, and Third place received $1,000 to put towards their ideas.  Each team is eligible to apply for an additional $2,000 in six months if they are still pursuing their idea.  Now, for what you’ve been waiting for- the results!</span></p><br><p><span>Technology &amp; Innovation Track: </span></p><p><span>First Place- Haven Cloud, </span><span>Faheel Kamran &amp; Mahmoud Shalby</span></p><p><span>Second Place- Crypto Briefcase, </span><span>Noah Masri &amp; Talon Schroeder</span></p><p><span>Third Place- Xeddy, </span><span>Basil Udo</span></p><br><p><span>Social Impact Track:</span></p><p><span>First Place- Seeker, </span><span>Michael Chapman</span></p><p><span>Second Place- Pennies for Pointe, </span><span>Kayla Massey</span></p><p><span>Third Place- Plus One Technology, </span><span>Tamara Buchanan</span></p><br><br><p><span>Innovation Works IW + MC Boost Summer 2022 Application </span></p><br><p><span>Deadline: Tuesday, May 31st </span></p><br><p><span>The Boost program is a joint entrepreneurial development workshop between IW and Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship.     <p>Rapid Lemon Productions is looking for an Asian-American / Pacific Islander (AAPI) actor for <em>Her, Across the River</em>, a play with movement by Hope Villanueva. CJay Philip directs this world premiere production.</p>
    <p>The character is ASNEE - a Thai teenage male / student monk. Speaks English, with an accent.</p>
    <p>Rehearsals are Monday &amp; Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Tech week June 6-9. Performances June 10-26. Rehearsals and performances will be at Motor House, 120 W. North Avenue in Baltimore. $200 stipend paid.</p></div>
