    <div class="html-content"><span><p><span>Are you a dedicated UMBC student who is interested in becoming an entrepreneur? Then this scholarship is for you! Please read the information below for further information about the PNC Scholars/Fellows Program Scholarship.  Application deadline is March 1, 2022 so be sure to apply soon!</span></p><br><p><span>PNC SCHOLARS/FELLOWS PROGRAM</span></p><br><p><span>The PNC Scholars/Fellows Program provides up to $2,000 to outstanding UMBC students interested in becoming an entrepreneur. The scholarship will be awarded for the 2022-2023 academic year. The funding can be used as academic scholarships (up to $1,000), or as “seed funding” (up to $2,000) to launch new ventures or community based social entrepreneurship projects.  </span></p><br><p><span>MUST SUBMIT:</span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>PNC Scholars/Fellows Application</span></p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p><span>A 1-2 page personal statement about their interest in entrepreneurship.  The statement should:</span></p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p><span>Describe the impact an academic scholarship will have on their future as an entrepreneur or social innovator or</span></p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p><span>Describe how the money will be used as “seed funding” to launch a new venture, or “seed funding” to launch a community based social entrepreneurship project.  Submit a preliminary budget outlining anticipated expenses.</span></p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p><span>An updated resume</span></p></li></ul><br><p><span>Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. </span></p><br><p><span>Apply Here: </span></p><p><a href="https://entrepreneurship.umbc.edu/resources/students/scholarships/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>https://entrepreneurship.umbc.edu/resources/students/scholarships/</span></a><span> </span></p><br></span></div>

    <div class="html-content"><div><strong>Workshop: Friday, February 25, Noon-1:00 PM, virtual</strong></div><div><strong>Please register <a href="https://apply.iie.org/register/umbc2.25.22" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">here</a> by today (Wednesday, February 23)</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div>Learn about the 2023-2024 <strong><a href="https://cies.org" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program</a></strong> and other exciting Fulbright opportunities at this workshop for CAHSS faculty, presented by the Institute of International Education (IIE), which develops and implements the Fulbright program. IIE program officers will provide information on the upcoming competition cycle, that starts in February 2022, and the Catalog of Awards. The presenters will share tips for preparing strong Fulbright applications, initiating outreach to international host institutions, and doing short- and long-term planning. Time will be given for Q&amp;A. Please read the information below for further information about the PNC Scholars/Fellows Program Scholarship.  Application deadline is March 1, 2022 so be sure to apply soon!</span></p><br><p><span>PNC SCHOLARS/FELLOWS PROGRAM</span></p><br><p><span>The PNC Scholars/Fellows Program provides up to $2,000 to outstanding UMBC students interested in becoming an entrepreneur. The scholarship will be awarded for the 2022-2023 academic year.
