The Marketing and Communications Department is seeking an Intern who will assist with research for upcoming projects, data entry, and copy writing/editing. The Intern will also have the opportunity to assist with evening and/or weekend events as needed. The BMA's Head Librarian and Archivist is seeking an Intern who will assist with various ongoing and special projects in the Library and Archives. The Intern will gain practical experience in the art museum library and archives field, including areas such as collection management, metadata creation, cataloguing, and archival processing. In addition to focused projects, the intern will have an opportunity to explore individual areas of interest.

The Creative Services Department at the BMA is seeking a Fall Intern to join the Marketing team. The Intern will be integral in assisting with a variety of fast-moving design projects including print, signage, web, e-mail, and social media. The Intern will learn to be responsive to art direction from these project team members and react quickly to feedback. The Intern will collaborate with many BMA staff members on projects from the conceptual stage to the final delivery, which will teach them about the printing, production, and management process.

The Education Department is seeking a Fall Intern to perform tracking/ timing evaluations of exhibitions and education spaces. The Intern will perform research, administer surveys, collate data, draft reports, and present findings to BMA staff.

The Intern will have the opportunity to learn about best practices in the museum evaluation field, gain data collection and interview skills, as well as hone research and presentation skills.

The Development Department is seeking a Fall Intern to assist with an archival records project as well as perform donor and fundraising research.

The Arts of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific Islands (AAAPI) Department is seeking a Fall Intern to assist in various projects and tasks. The intern should expect to learn aspects of collections management, research, and archiving.
