SPARK Exhibition Intern
Seeking an Exhibition Intern to work with the Curator and Assistant Curator of the upcoming SPARK V exhibition and related programming, which presents to work of UMBC and Towson University faculty and student artists, at the Peale Museum in Baltimore from mid-January to mid-April.

This role will generally support the planning and execution of programming at the Peale Museum and, with active mentorship, take a gradually increasing leadership role in producing aspects of the SPARK exhibition that highlight UMBC and Towson University student artwork.

Ideally, this will be an internship for credit for a student with a major or minor in Art History and Museum Studies but those with other majors are welcome to apply. While not a paid position, in addition to credit, there is a $700 stipend for this role.

Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work remotely and in person (which requires proof of vaccination and masking per Peale Museum policy.)

This $1.3M program, created in partnership with bwtech, UMBC, the University System of Maryland, and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration, funds cybersecurity entrepreneurs working in collaboration toward cyber solutions and technologies that impact the public. Entrepreneurs in the program also benefit from graduate student assistance, Entrepreneur in Residence mentorship, and the research of faculty members from Maryland universities.
