In this landmark year, Livewire 10: Rewind/Fast Forward will exploremusical origins as well as the future landscape through a sweeping series of events. The Department will look back (Rewind) to our roots through juxtaposing early music with contemporary music (Fast Forward) that will bring world-class musicians and scholars to the campus to interact with faculty and students. Livewire 10 will be a realization of a vision to contextualize for students and audiences the historical underpinnings of our contemporary sound world
