NGSA Mission:

1.  The NGSA is committed to the intellectual success of all Nigerian graduate students at UMBC. It is devoted to providing professional, social interactions and support among Nigerian graduate students..

2.  Provide opportunities to interact with each other, build a robust support system, and share job opportunities and resources.

3.  NGSA will support newly admitted graduate students moving to the US from Nigeria and assist in making their transition as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  

4. Providing opportunities and support and fostering a sense of community for Nigerian Graduate Students through events and collaborative projects within and outside the association..

5.The NGSA will collaborate with the Graduate School, GSA, BSO, other African Students, or any organization interested in inter-cultural exchange.
