Are your emotions impacting your leadership? Can emotions and leadership even go together? Join leadership peer facilitator, Kiyah Carter, in her Leading with Emotions virtual workshop. This workshop focuses on students involved in leadership roles or organizations on campus. Viewers will be able to identify the importance of self-awareness and managing emotions.
Meet the presenter:
Kiyah Carter, she/ her/hers, is a Senior Psychology major here at UMBC. Kiyah’s favorite color is purple and she loves Spicy Sweet Doritos. Kiyah believes that leadership is defined as helping and guiding individuals with intention to achieve a goal. Her goals as a Leadership Peer Facilitator (LPF) are to empower students and improve her facilitation and public speaking skills. Outside of being a LPF, Kiyah is involved in UMBC’s Gospel Choir.
