Welcome to the brand new Family Connection, formerly known as the "Parent Connection Newsletter! The Division of Student Affairs recognizes that family members, friends, and spouses are a big part of our community as well as our students. We want to make sure that our UMBC Families get all the information they need to support their students. This new format will make it easier for us to stay connected and ensure that you have access to resources needed to support your student here at UMBC.
If you were already subscribed to the "Parent Connection Newsletter" list you don't need to do a thing. Your email address has been automatically moved to the new email list and all communication will be done through here from now on. To unsubscribe from the list click the link labeled "unsubscribe from this list" at the bottom of the email and follow the instructions.
Additionally, you will notice we have a new email address. Parents and families can now reach us at families@umbc.edu. We will be phasing out the parents@umbc.eduemail over the course of the academic year. As always you can reach us in the Vice President For Student Affairs Office at 410-455-2393 for any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to another great year of working together.
