Since 1980 SEO has provided underrepresented college students of color with paid summer internships leading to full-time jobs. More than 30 years later, Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans are still underrepresented in many top entry level jobs. SEO interns learn from top executives and decision-makers from some of the most influential organizations.

BUT EMPLOYMENT DOES.The application for the Summer 2012 Department of State Internship Program has been extended to November 7th. Interested qualified students are encouraged to submit their application by the new deadline of Monday, November 7th. Individuals who have already submitted an application will be able to update, edit, and resubmit their application until the new closing date.
All applicants are encouraged to submit their application in advance of the closing date to avoid any complications which may be experienced due to heavy application volume in the final days and hours prior to the announcement closing.

]]>Please come out to the National Residence Hall Honorary's 1st Nature Clean-Up. We will be performing some much needed trail maintenance in McKeldin Park on Sunday, November 6th from 9am-1pm.All volunteers should arrive at The Commons Circle at 8:15am so that we can depart and arrive at the park by 9am.
Volunteers should wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and bring water. Eligibility:
U.S.
citizenship, enrollment as a college student at any accredited college, and a minimum 3.0 GPA
Interns participate in on-site experiences with DOC bureaus and offices to integrate academic theory and workplace requirements, gain relevant skills and knowledge, explore Federal career options, develop professional networks, and gain a greater understanding of Federal agencies.
Interns receive a biweekly stipend, paid round-trip transportation between their schools/homes and their internship locations, and receive a housing allowance

The Institute for Responsible Citizenship is now accepting applications for 2012.
The Institute is a two-summer leadership program for high-achieving black male college sophomores. Students receive high-level internships, participate in rigorous academic seminars, and meet influential leaders.
