  <Title>Fall Research Internship in Life Sciences</Title>

    <div class="html-content">BioMarker Strategies is a tissue-based cancer diagnostics company developing the innovative SnapPath live tumor cell processing and testing system. This novel pathology-based medical device will automatically process tumor biopsies on a real-time basis at the point of care. The proprietary SnapPath system will also serve as a testing platform for our growing portfolio of live cell/ex-vivo biomarker tests, including tests to determine which patients will benefit from specific targeted cancer drugs. The company will then combine traditional pathology diagnostic services with improved molecular pathology tumor profiles and novel, live-cell biomarker tests to be performed in our future CLIA lab.<br><br>Position Description:<br><br>1.   <Title>PAID First Lego League Service-Learning Opportunity!</Title>

        <div class="html-content"><div><span>The Shriver Center's Service-Learning Program is recruiting 2 UMBC students to launch the start of a new weekly service opportunity offered through the LET'S GO Boys &amp; Girls STEM Program, with the Meade Village Boys &amp; Girls Club's First Lego League.  Students majoring in STEM, especially Mechanical Engineering, are strongly encouraged to apply!  The site is in need of 2 volunteers on Wednesdays, from 3:30-6:30pm (this includes travel time to and from the site), and a stipend of $300-400 is available for the positions.  Transportation is not provided, but carpools may be arranged.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Interested students should complete the attached application, which is due to The Shriver Center by next Wednesday, September 21st.         including undergraduate student internships or undergraduate co-ops, and
         graduate studies programs.</p>
