  • Bass Drums 3, 5 and 6
The UMBC Down and Dirty Dawg Drumline is looking for new members that play the instruments above. Benefits for joining the drumline include:
  • Earning $$$ to play your drum!
  • Fulfill your PHED Gen-Ed requirement through the PHED 193 Marching and Pep Band class
  • Join a highly respect and recognized ensemble while gaining lots of performing experiences. No other ensemble at UMBC offers this many performance opportunities.
  • Travel with the basketball teams to the America East Conference Championships. Travel with the teams if we make it to the NCAA.

Auditions are only required for percussion.  Band auditions are optional, though only students who pass their audition will be eligible for the $15-20 per game stipend.  Tuba players are exempt from auditions and will automatically be paid a stipend.
