The UMBC Down and Dirty Dawg Pep Band and Drumline are looking for new members that play the instruments above.  Benefits for joining the band include...

• Fulfill your PHED Gen-Ed requirement through the PHED 193 Marching and Pep Band class (offered to band/drumline members during the Spring semester).
• Join a highly respected and recognized ensemble while gaining lots of performing experience.  No other ensemble at UMBC offers this many performance opportunities.
• Travel with the basketball teams to the America East Conference Championships.  Travel with the teams if we make it to the NCAA.

Auditions are only required for percussion.  Band auditions are optional, though only students who pass their audition will be eligible for the $15-20 per game stipend.  Tuba players are exempt from auditions and will automatically be paid a stipend.
