Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles of philanthropy, deity, and education through fellowship, service, mentoring, and formal training in leadership, science and ethics. As UMBC's only medical co-ed fraternity, we take much much pride in our close camaraderie and unparalleled diversity. 

UMBC - MD Alpha was officially colonized in the spring of 2015 making it one of the newest chapters in the world. We will be chartered this fall. UMBC students with the aspirations to one day become a physician now have the opportunity to become a part of a network of prestigious undergraduate universities and medical school all over the globe. The monumental steps that were taken in order for all of this to happen could not have been completed without the dedication and efforts of our founding class. Now heading into our first semester of chapter, MD Alpha is excited to welcome the brightest of UMBC and strives to establish traditions that will last for generations.
