Kristen Wever, Assistan Director for the G-Squared Program came in on November 13th to talk about the opportunities the program provides:

- a partnership program between George Mason and Georgetown University
- based on the Georgetown MS in Physiology
- consists of a 9 month, 20 credit graduate certificate (post-bac program)
- one of the unique resources is the availability of four supplemental faculty--professionals who are always available to students to ask questions to/use as a resources
- provides test prep resources
- hybrid or in class learning options
- anatomy labs located at Georgetown School of Medicine
- have a new AMSA chapter
- first year parallels the first year at med school with similar courses
- lots of team-building activities
- have an annual cpr class and school fair
- volunteer projects/experiences occur throughout the year
- many second year options available: more clinical work, research, volunteering, Masters in Physiology at Georgetown, Masters in Biochemistry or Biology at George Mason
- possible to get a Masters in the following summer by taking 10 credits
- incoming class had an average 3.20 overall GPA and 2.87 science GPA
- admissions requirements: over 3.0 undergraduate GPA, pre-med requirements completed, three letters of recommendation, clinical, research, and volunteer experience, personal statment
- test scores are not required for admission
- applications are currently open and are available until July 15, 2020
