Take a break from studying, have some pizza, and join HCST to watch and discuss There's Something in the Water. Discussion about environmental racism and how to narrate environmental problems to reach a broad audience led by Mirjam Voerkelius (UMBC HCST & History).
Elliot Page brings attention to the injustices and injuries caused by environmental racism in his home province, in this urgent documentary on Indigenous and African Nova Scotian women fighting to protect their communities, their land, and their futures.
