On Dec. 2, 2023, we had guest speaker, Dr. Christina Roman (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager at The University of Chicago Biological Sciences Division Office of Diversity and Inclusion) joined us for a session on writing personal statements for summer research programs. If you missed the workshop, fret not!, as Dr. Roman had graciously shared many resources with UMBC McNair and the UMBC community at large to ensure students' successes!
