UMBC is hosting a Science Olympiad Invitational for high school students on January 17, 2025. Apply to be a member of the UMBC Science Olympiad Invitational Volunteer Team and/or Exam Team. Volunteer Team members must be available January 16 and 17, Exam Team members must be available January 13, 14, 15, and 16. Exam Team members will meet to write the Disease Detective exam for the UMBC Science Olympiad high school participants. Volunteer Team members will be volunteering during the event on January 17 at UMBC and training for duties on January 16.
Applicants must have completed PBHL 200: Human Health and Disease and PBHL 420: Epidemiology with a B or better and have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA.
