Research study that may help U.S.A
military veterans with amputations
from Iraq and Afghanistan:
Individuals with normal, healthy skin are needed to donate skin samples
as part of research in the Department of Dermatology. We hope that
information from this study will help with problems like skin break-down
in our patients with amputations and prosthetics.
Study volunteers must meet the following criteria:
Be age 18-65
In good health
Willing to come in for multiple visits over 10 months and
undergo a lab test (one time)
Compensation for time and travel available up to $600
Funded by the Armed Forces Institute for Regenerative Medicine and
National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases
