These positions are with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS). Two positions are located at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, one in the Animal Parasitic Diseases Laboratory and the other in the Invasive Insect Biocontrol & Behavior Lab, Beltsville, Maryland. The other position is at the Appalachian Fruit Research Station located in Kearneysville, West Virginia.
The incumbents will serves as a personal assistant to the Research Leader (RL) and other professional staff, coordinating a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks essential to the program administration of the Management Unit. They will provide technical and procedural advice in support of research program administration by identifying and analyzing issues and taking or recommending action using established guidelines.
NOTE: The Beltsville positions are covered by a Bargaining Unit Agreement.
