Dear UMBC campus community,
Tonight we were informed that we have misrepresented the UMBC Student Government Association, and we have issued an online correction, linked below. We previously stated that a student who wanted to be left anonymous was dismissed from the SGA, where in fact the student's nomination to a position was revoked. Official dismissals from the SGA are public.
Since our fourth issue is already on the stands and has been for a few hours, we unfortunately cannot control the distribution of those already picked up, but we want to be absolutely clear when we make errors such as these in an effort to offer transparency and to continue to hold ourselves to a higher standard.
