UMBC's online radio station.

WMBC is an independent student-run online radio station. It is a freeform, uncensored web broadcast based out of UMBC in Baltimore, Maryland.

Interested in joining WMBC? Each semester we may have the following positions available:

DJs - perform their own talk or music radio shows
Personnel team member - manage DJs schedules and shows for quality and performance
Social media team member - be part of the team that uploads content onto the stations social accounts
Events team member - coordinates fun and purposeful events such as live concerts, broadcasting events, and other miscellaneous events
Library team member - manages the digital and physical music media belonging to the station
Engineering apprentice - work with the technical side of broadcasting and concerts to give the best streaming sound quality, and live sound quality.

That’s ok! We host several events throughout the year that are open to everyone.
