Interested in working with children in a mentor capacity? Consider becoming a CHIP Mentor!
The CHIP Mentoring program is a Baltimore-based program for children of incarcerated parents, run through Alternative Directions, Inc. After being referred, children are matched with a volunteer mentor from the community. Over time, the mentor and mentee build a positive consistent long term friendship through one-on-one mentoring and group activities.
See the attached flyer for more information.
Contact Anjali Tallapragada (Program Coordinator, CHIP Mentor Program, and UMBC alumna) for more information and access to the application form: atalla@alternativedirectionsinc.org.
