Why do you think you are a good fit for this position?
I'm organized and committed to helping the pregnant moms and help them choose life. I attended just about all of the meetings so far, and I've done a lot of work to help the pro-life cause. During the 2019-2020 year I've been involved with working on the database to help pregnant mothers (I worked mainly on adoption options), I've attended the pro-life conference back in January, helped with spreading information about financial aid/scholarships available to moms, and more! Additionally I'm someone who is able to manage time well, and I'm very passionate about helping others. I aim to be a woman of integrity, and one who wants to help others succeed.
What plans do you have for this club?
I want to see if we can do sidewalk counseling next semester. We couldn't do it this year because of COVID-19. I also think it would be great if we are able to raise more awareness about our cause and why we're pro-life, along with continuing to provide resources for pregnant and parenting moms. It would be cool if we could work with other clubs and try to set up some sort of free child-care/babysitting system for moms at UMBC.
