What if there was a new and exciting student-run place on campus where you could get a cup of coffee with a someone or two- and have a place to sit, work, collaborate, discuss politics, or listen to music?
What if we made that space?
To make this happen, SGA is seeking any interested student to join us in conversations to reimagine how we use our campus spaces. And when we say “any student,” we really mean “every student.” This space should benefit all of us - regardless of what our background is, our major, or our favorite hobbies.
We need artists who can help make this space a sight to behold. We need environmentalists who can help make this space environmentally-friendly and sustainable. We need technologists who can help make this space a reflection of what 21st-century students need to succeed. We need economists and entrepreneurial students who can help make this space fiscally sound and who can manage books, finances, and costs. We need event planners who can help this space be lively and determine what stories this space can tell through occasionally planned events. We need engineering students who can contribute to this space by designing it. We need innovators who can make this space completely different from anywhere else on campus. We need coffee-lovers to keep us fueled and remind us what this space could be for.
We need you.
If you’re interested, we would love to welcome you as a part of our team. Fill out this Google Form by Friday, March 10, 2017 and we will be in touch with further details!
