UMBC at the Universities at Shady Grove is located in Rockville, MD in the heart of Montgomery County. With six undergraduate and six graduate programs available, it offers the academic reputation of UMBC in a convenient location with easy access to the government agencies, contractors and major healthcare organizations that call the area home. Students can begin to claim their future with internships and field placements, as well as the outstanding instruction for which UMBC faculty are known. As one of nine institutions at the Universities at Shady Grove, UMBC is part of a consortium of schools within the University System of Maryland, an arrangement which allows students to explore a wide range of outlooks and opportunities as they complete their UMBC degree.
